My Account release notes, March 2022

Introduzione

This release of My Account provides new features and enhancements for libraries with WorldCat Discovery to help you offer an improved experience for your library users, including:

View recent WorldCat Discovery searches
Re-run a search
Share a search with a colleague
Delete a search from the history
Promote a search from the history to a saved search

These enhancements are the direct result of your feedback.

If your library uses both Tipasa and WorldShare Management Services (WMS), we encourage you to verify that your integration is set up to best meet your needs. For details, see Set up integration. With questions or for assistance with setup, contact OCLC Support.

Include Request ID with problem reports

When reporting an issue with My Account or WorldCat Discovery, it's very helpful to include the Request ID. It can be found at the bottom of the screen on which the issue occurred. Including this information allows us to directly trace what happened on the request we are troubleshooting.

View search activity in My Account

For libraries with WorldCat Discovery

Library users can now see a list of their WorldCat Discovery searches and pick up where they left off with their research. On the new Search activity > Search history tab in My Account, users are able to:

View their 100 most recent searches
Re-run a search (by clicking the search term)
Share a search with a colleague
Delete a search from the history
Promote a search from the history to a saved search
