Configurare la ricezione e la rivendicazione

Configurare la ricezione

Prima di ricevere

  1. You must have a copy (local holdings record) for the title to receive issues. You can add copies (local holdings records) on the Copies screen. See Create copy (local holdings record) for more information.
  2. The issue must appear on the Receive Issues tab. If it does not, it must be added. Add issues on the Manage Issues tab.
     Note: When you add issues using Manage Issues, this becomes global data.

Creazione di una copia (registro locale)

 Note: A subscription is considered a copy.

  1. Search for the serial in Discover Items in the left navigation.
  2. Tra i risultati della ricerca, fare clic sul titolo del serial.
  3. Click Copies in the upper right.
  4. Nella schermata Copie, nell'angolo superiore destro, fare clic su Aggiungi copia.
  5. On the Add New Copy screen, fill in the fields. Some fields require explanation:
    Campo Definizione
    Audience level The WorldCat holdings audience level assigned to the item. This option is only available for WMS libraries. See WorldCat holdings audience levels for more information.
    Numero copia Il numero assegnato dalla biblioteca che distingue una copia del titolo da un'altra copia identica.
    Posizione di detenzione Sede della biblioteca che possiede l'oggetto descritto dal record dell'oggetto.

    (Optional) To make a note display upon check in or check out, type an exclamation point as its first character (!).
    Stato della ricezione Se sono state ricevute parti di nuova pubblicazione di un articolo multiparte o seriale.
    Posizioni delle scaffalature

    Posizione dell'articolo all'interno del luogo di detenzione.

    To remove a shelving location, click the X next to the down arrow (if available), or click the shelving location in the list to uncheck it.
  6. Fare clic su Aggiungi copia.

Errore di posizione dello scaffale non riconosciuto

This error occurs when the Shelf Location value (852 ‡c) in the Location Holdings Record does not match a value entered in the Holding Codes Translation Table found in OCLC Service Configuration. The Holding Code Translation Table is the source for Branch codes and display names, Shelving Scheme and Shelf Locations. For more information, see Holding Codes Translation Table.

Iniziare a ricevere

  1. Fare clic sulla scheda Ricevi problemi.
  2. Fare clic su Avvia ricezione.
  3. Nella finestra Impostazioni di ricezione:
    1. Inserire il numero di copie che si prevede di ricevere. Tutti i numeri successivi a quello da cui si è scelto di partire avranno questo numero.
    2. Choose the first issue you expect to receive (any issue for which there are outstanding copies to be received).
  4. Fare clic su Salva.
    • Il numero di copie che si prevede di ricevere appare come secondo numero nella colonna Copie ricevute (n di n), a partire dal numero indicato e includendo tutti i numeri rimanenti ancora da ricevere.
    • Copies not received automatically appear on the Missing Issues screen (Serial Issues > Missing Issues).
    • Il pulsante Avvia ricezione cambia in Interrompi ricezione.

Missing issues

Once you have indicated the number of copies expected, the system adds copies not received to the Missing Issues screen (Serial Issues > Missing Issues) if these conditions are met:

  1. La data di uscita prevista è passata
  2. Il numero è stato ricevuto da un'altra biblioteca, come indicato nella colonna "First Received".
  3. Your library has received at least one, but not all, expected copies of the issue

From the Missing Issues screen (Serial Issues > Missing Issues), you can claim issues. See Claim serial issues for more information.

Configurare la rivendicazione

Issues appear on the Missing Issues screen after you have clicked Start Receiving issues and at least one of these conditions is true:

  • Una biblioteca ha già ricevuto l'edizione (c'è una data di prima ricezione)
  • La data di spedizione prevista inserita dalla prima biblioteca che l'ha ricevuta è passata.
  • Avete ricevuto una copia ma ne aspettate più di una.

Configurare il filtraggio

  1. Nel pannello di sinistra fate clic su Problemi di serie.
  2. Fare clic su Problemi mancanti.
  3. Use the filters: Claiming Status, Expected Release, First Received, Claims, Last Claimed, and Copies Received to find missing issues. See Use filters to find missing serial issues.

Gli altri parametri per la configurazione della rivendicazione sono impostati a livello globale e non sono modificabili in Acquisizioni.
