Connexion Javascript error when controlling heading: "An error has occurred in the script on this page"

Symptom

• When trying to click on links in the Control Headings windows, you get the Script Error:
  An error has occurred in the script on this page
  Line: 7082
  Char:5
  Error: Class not registered
  Code: 0
  URL: http://connexion.oclc.org/html/corc/CorcJScript.js
• You may have recently had your PC updated or uninstalled Internet Explorer (IE)

Applies to

• Connexion client

Resolution

Install Internet Explorer. At this time, Connexion client is hard coded to point to Internet Explorer.

Alternatively, use WorldShare Record Manager for this workflow.
