Can CONTENTdm use SSL certificates that automatically renew, such as Let's Encrypt or ZeroSSL?

Currently, CONTENTdm cannot support the use of Let's Encrypt SSL certificates and recommends a Certificate Authority vendor. If ZeroSSL has an option that does not automatically renew, that is acceptable. However, CONTENTdm cannot support any SSL certificates that automatically renew.
