Imposta la programmazione della stanza

Utilizzate Room Scheduling per prenotare le sale della vostra biblioteca per i vostri clienti.

Se permettete ai clienti di prenotare le sale della vostra istituzione, potete usare la funzione di programmazione delle sale per gestire le sale della vostra biblioteca e creare eventi (prenotazioni) per i clienti. La programmazione delle sale è disponibile in WorldShare Circulation, ma deve essere prima configurata in OCLC Service Configuration.

 Note: 

  • The option to use reserve rooms in WMS Circulation will become visible in the Circulation UI when at least one room has been configured in the Service Configuration under WMS Circulation > Holds and Schedules > Room Schedules > Room Configuration.
  • Solo il personale può prenotare stanze per gli utenti. Al momento non esiste un'interfaccia utente che consenta agli utenti di prenotare le stanze da soli.

In OCLC Service Configuration, si crea una sala per ogni sala della propria istituzione che può essere prenotata.

Fase 1: Creare le stanze

In Configurazione del servizio, è necessario creare una sala nel sistema per ogni sala che può essere prenotata presso la propria istituzione. Quando si creano le sale, è possibile inserire informazioni descrittive sulla sala, tra cui la capacità, le attrezzature e un'immagine. Per creare una stanza, seguire le istruzioni riportate in Crea una nuova stanza. Le stanze possono anche essere copiate o eliminate, se necessario. Fase 2: Determinare se si desidera impostare le notifiche

Next, you should determine whether you want to send out any room notifications.

Legacy notifications

You can send out notifications to patrons when their room reservation has been created, if their reservation has been canceled, and/or to remind them of their upcoming reservation. All notifications are optional. If you decide you want to send notifications to patrons about their rooms, you will need to first create the notification on the Notification Policy screen (WMS Circulation > Notification Policy) in the Service Configuration.

After creating all applicable notifications, you must then select the notifications on the Room Scheduling screen (WMS Circulation > Notifications and Receipts > Additional Patron Notifications) in Service Configuration. See Room Configuration for more information.

 Note: Legacy notifications will not be turned off until mid-2027. For more information on making the switch to Next-Generation Notifications and resources to help with this transition, visit Getting ready for Next-Generation Notifications.

The following NGN templates can be configured for Room Schedules:

 Caution: When a library enables a Next-Generation Notification, its corresponding legacy notification(s) will be disabled. For Group Aware libraries, OCLC recommends coordinating a single rollout window for Next-Generation Notifications across the consortium to avoid patrons experiencing mixed notification experiences when borrowing from multiple libraries.  For more information about NGNs for Group aware libraries, see Next-Generation Notifications for Group aware libraries.

To use Room Schedule notifications, you must first configure a template for each notification. Click the name of an NGN template above to learn more about the configuration required for that template.

Fase 3: prenotazione delle camere nell'interfaccia del personale
