Upload a local circulation data file
Circulation data is loaded against a single institution symbol. If more than one symbol is available, take care to choose the symbol that matches the circulation file you are uploading.
If you would like to be able to upload your library's circulation data via SFTP, please reach out to Choreo support.
Carica file
- Click Uploads in the top navigation.
- Select the Circulation tab.
- Use the Institution drop-down list to select the correct institution symbol.
Note: If a file is uploaded under the wrong institution symbol by mistake, your library staff cannot reassign it. Please contact Choreo support so that the data can be corrected.
- Drag and drop your circulation data CSV file into the designated area, or click Drag and Drop file here to browse for your file locally.
- Once your upload is complete, you will receive an email notification with the status of your upload.
- If changes or corrections are needed to your file, you can overwrite the contents of the previous file by uploading the corrected data with the same name.
- Once your circulation file has been successfully processed, the Usage filter begins returning results for your library. See Query filters > Usage for more information.
Esporta campi
Circulation data you upload is available when you export query data. The data is available in the export as two fields:
- Checkout Count - Populated from Times Loaned in your uploaded file
- Last Checkout - Populated from Last Loan Date in your uploaded file
These fields reflect your own uploaded circulation data and are the same values the Usage filter queries against. They are populated for records in your holdings that match a row in your most recent circulation file, and they are available for selection in the Export Wizard along with the other export fields.
