Text field translations

Discover how to provide translated content for customizable text fields in the CapiraMobile Staff Dashboard.

Overview

You can provide translated content for standard text elements as well as customizable text fields (service names, alert messages, button labels, etc.) so that patrons receive the information in your app in their preferred language. The app automatically displays translated content when your users change their device language settings.

Translation types:

  • Default translations: Provided for standard text elements, but can be customized based on your library preferences
  • Custom translations: Your library must manually add translated text for your custom content in the desired languages

Translation languages

Translations are available in 17 languages. Multiple translations can be added for customizable text fields.

Add a custom translation

  1. When the option to add custom translation text is available, you will see Expand Translations beneath the text box.
  2. Click Expand Translations > Add Translation.
  3. For Language, select the translation language from the drop down list.
  4. For Translation Text, enter the custom translation text for that language.
  5. (Optional) Click Add Translation to add another translation language.
  6. Fare clic su Salva modifiche.

    • Digital Card Wallet (account and detail screen display names)
