Which fields are required for a patron load file?

The required columns for your patron load file will depend on which products your library has access to. 

Columns that need to be completed for WorldShare Circulation customers:

  1. givenName
  2. familyName
  3. institutionId
  4. barcode
  5. borrowerCategory
  6. homeBranch

Columns that need to be completed for Tipasa-only libraries:

  1. givenName
  2. familyName
  3. institutionId
  4. illId

If your library is using third-party authentication, be sure to also include the idAtSource and sourceSystem. Never remove unused columns from the file, as this will cause the upload to fail.
