Why do I receive an error when creating a new automation?
Symptom
- You receive the error: An error has occurred creating the new automation Please check the data and ty again or contact OCLC support for assistance.

Resolution
Confirm that your new automation has a unique name and that you are not reusing the name of an existing automation. If this is not the issue, confirm that you are not using a priority number that is used in existing automations. The priority number must be unique.
If this does not resolve your issue, please contact OCLC Support with a screenshot of the error message and your automation settings.
