Why did I receive a lending request for an item my library does not hold?

Answer
Make sure you don't have WorldCat holdings on the requested record. If you confirm that you do not have holdings on it, this means the borrowing library mistakenly entered your symbol in the lender string. Respond No to the request and choose the reason "Not owned."
