The ILLiad Rapid Manager will not start
Symptom
- ILLiad Rapid Manager will not start on the ILLiad web server
- You may get an error similar to this:
Service cannot be started. System.ApplicationException: This version of the ILLiad RAPID Manager (9.2.2.0) does not match the current configuration (9.2.1.0)
Resolution
There are two ways this can be resolved.
1. Check the ILLiad folder on the server
- On the web server, go to C\illiad\Setup
- Check the RapidManagerUpdates and SystemManagerUpdates folder for the most recent versions
- Copy the components of those folders to the corresponding C\illiad\ folder
- Try restarting the services
2. Rollback Customization Keys
- Open the Customization Manager
- Search for VersionRapidManager and VersionSystemManager
- Double-click on the previous version number, or change the version number in the value field to match 9.2.1, and Save
- On the server at C\illiad\Admin run the ILLiadUpdate application
- You should see updates available for the Rapid Manager and System Manager that you can then install
