The OCLC Connexion client macro, GenerateERecord, part of the OCLC macrobook, has been updated with the following changes:
- The default field 588 first indicator position is now set to 0 and the source of description text has been modified accordingly
- The macro no longer adds a 655 4 Electronic books
- The default ELvl code has been changed from K to 7
The macro is now available for both Connexion client version 2.63 and version 3.x.
The updated OCLC macrobook can be downloaded independent of Connexion client on the OCLC Help site.
Please be sure you are downloading the correct macrobook to match the version of the Connexion client that you are running.
