About replacing bibliographic records

Find an overview on how to replace bibliographic records in Connexion client.
  • A minimum authorization level of Full is required to replace WorldCat records.
  • Interactive Replace - You can take a Replace Record or Replace and Update Holdings action on a WorldCat record or a record saved in the online or local bibliographic save file.
    Or
    Batch Replace - You can take the Replace action on records saved in the local save file while offline to mark them for batch processing.
  • These actions are available for existing records only. Workforms must be added to WorldCat (a record must have an OCLC number) and then saved before they can be replaced.
