Find information about using CONTENTdm (new version) with Google Analytics 4.

CONTENTdm (new version) (new version) supports Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google’s next-generation analytics tool. 

 Roles: Users with the Administrator role can configure Google Analytics 4. Refer to CONTENTdm (new version) roles. 

Add Google Analytics 4 support to your site

A Google Analytics account and Google Analytics 4(G4) property are required to configure a G4 Analytics integration in CONTENTdm (new version) (new version).

  • To get started, visit Google Analytics and create a Google Analytics 4 account with a web data stream to obtain your measurement ID. Even if you already have a Google Analytics account, we recommend setting up a separate account specifically for CONTENTdm (new version).
  • If you're currently using Google Universal Analytics, you'll need to create a new Google Analytics 4 data stream for integration with CONTENTdm (new version) (new version).
