When I try to access a report in WorldShare Analytics, I receive an error message or a sign-in page.

Symptom

  • When you try to access a report in WorldShare Analytics, you receive an error message that reads: Logon failed for RESTful Web Services. Contact system administrator.
  • When you try to access a report in WorldShare Analytics, you are taken to a sign-in page titled "Logon to Open Document"

Resolution

This is typically an issue with the browser's cache and cookies. 

Close out of all open browsing windows and access WorldShare in an incognito/private window, then try to access the report. If this resolves the issue, your browser's cache and cookies will need to be cleared. You can also test if the issue is browser-related by accessing WorldShare in a different browser.

If this does not resolve the issue, please contact OCLC Support with a description of the issue and a screenshot of the error message.
