When Importing Orders I am getting an error that says "The Resource Service is not available".

Symptom

  • When I attempt to import an order into WorldShare Acquisitions, it fails and shows the error as: "The Resource Service is not available".

  • WorldShare Acquisitions  

Resolution

Please check the MARC records of any items that failed to Import. We found in one case the 035 field had a OCLC Number 0.  Having an invalid OCLC Number (OCN) in the 035 field could explain the failure to import the MARC Record.
