General defaults
Access OLIB defaults and edit settings
Note: These are settings that affect the operation of OLIB as a whole and are only accessible to System Managers.
- In the Menu go to System Administration> OLIB Defaults.
- Click the Defaults record to display the details.
- Click modify record to make changes.

Renormalisation Time |
It is possible to re-normalise all the data in the OLIB database from within OLIB Web. Set the Renormalisation Time field to the date and time on which you would like the re-normalisation process to begin. The process will begin at the specified date/time, and continue until it is completed. OLIB updates the Renormalisation Results field to indicate when it ran and how long it took to complete, and clears the Renormalisation Time field. |

Disable Recording of Browser Information |
Yes/No whether to disable OLIB's internet browser recording mechanism. This information can be used at a later date to aid decisions on support for newer or older browsers / operating systems. If you allow browser information to be gathered, it is recorded in one of the standard reports in the Reports Library. Predefined report SYS002 User Agent Usage (Report Number -27) records this information which includes the date, application (OLIB Web / Folio), browser / search engine / operating system, number of times accessed. It stores information for the previous 6 months. Esempio: 2016-04 OlibWeb Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/5.0) 3 There are various online tools available for interpreting these results by querying one User Agent value at a time.
