Why do I not see local availability data appearing on an article record in Discovery?

There is no Call Number, Check Out Status, or Shelving Location appearing on an article record in WorldCat Discovery.

Discovery says you own a record, but it has no local availability displayed, even though there is a local holdings record (LHR) on the journal title in Record Manager.

Resolution
The LHRs only show on the WorldCat Discovery article record when the LHRs are attached to the journal holding with the highest number of library holdings. The record with the most worldwide holdings becomes the 'representative' record, and the logic picks that one to decide whether to attach LHRs to the Discovery article record.
For example, if your library has its holdings set on a print periodical with 1220 holdings worldwide and an ePeriodical with 697 holdings worldwide, then:
- If both records have LHRs, the LHRs on the print record will display on the article in Discovery.
- If the print periodical (more holdings) has LHR(s), and the ePeriodical does not, then the LHR will appear on the article in Discovery because the LHRs are attached to the record that has more holdings.
- If the ePeriodical (less holdings) has LHR(s), and the print periodical does not, then no LHRs will appear on the article in Discovery.
