Language changes don't take place in WorldCat Discovery

Symptom
  • The settings that control the language used in WorldCat Discovery have been changed but the change does not display.
Applies to
  • WorldCat Discovery
Resolution

Verify the URL or bookmark to WorldCat Discovery does not include the parameter :

lang=<unwanted language code> (for example, "fr" or "eng")

If this exists, it overrides your site language selection.
