More easily identify publication date matches in search results

Search term highlighting now includes the publication date field. When a search term matches the publication date, the matching year is highlighted on both the search results tile and the item details page, making it easier to understand why a record is relevant to the search query.

New content

You can enable these databases as search options in the Licensed Content and Databases module of OCLC Service Configuration. Please remember that your library must have a valid subscription to these databases in order to have the best experience for accessing the full text.

Below is a list of new database names and providers for reference. The complete list of databases is available at http://www.oclc.org/content/dam/oclc...ontentlist.xls

  • UK Data Service from UK Data Service: The UK's largest collection of economic, population and social research data for teaching, learning and public benefit.
  • Taiwan Open Access Journals from TOAJ: TOAJ is an open-access platform that collects academic publications published in Taiwan, conforming to NSTC's goal of promoting open access. Include Request ID with problem reports

When reporting an issue with WorldCat Discovery, it is extremely helpful to include the Request ID. The Request ID is found at the bottom of the screen on which the issue occurred. Including this information allows us to directly trace what happened on the request we are troubleshooting.
