Display new title-level licensing fields for AI usage
WorldCat Discovery now shows AI-related terms in the Terms and Notes pop-up window when this information is available in License Manager. This allows users to see AI-related permissions or restrictions connected to the content.
Details
When AI-related terms are available, they will appear in the Notes and Terms pop-up window as:
- AI usage: (Yes or No) Indicates whether AI usage is permitted.
- AI usage conditions: If AI usage is allowed, specifies any restrictions (for example, Local AI use only or Commercial AI allowed).
AI usage terms will appear in all locations where the Terms and Notes are shown.

Configuration
To display these terms, you must configure AI usage information in License Manager. Once configured in License Manager, the terms will automatically display in Discovery. See WorldShare License Manager release notes, August 2025 for more information.
Bug fixes
Place Hold form buttons now return to item detail page when not signed in
Users who select the Place Hold button before signing in are now correctly returned to the item detail page when using the Return to Search or Cancel buttons after completing their hold request. Previously, these buttons displayed a "No web page was found" error. This fix ensures users can easily return to the item they were viewing.
Remain authenticated when accessing ILL request form
On-campus users who are signed in to WorldCat Discovery now remain signed in when navigating to the ILL request form using the ILL button. Previously, these users were prompted to sign in again before their data could auto-populate the ILL request form. This fix ensures a smoother experience by preserving the authenticated session across pages.

Include Request ID with problem reports
When reporting an issue with WorldCat Discovery, it is extremely helpful to include the Request ID. The Request ID is found at the bottom of the screen on which the issue occurred. Including this information allows us to directly trace what happened on the request we are troubleshooting.
